FFA The primary aim of the Future Farmers of America is the development of agricultural leadership, cooperation and citizenship. These purposes and objectives are achieved thru vari- ous student activities and contesm. Public speak ing and parliamentary procedure are stressed. Annual events which have become traditional are parents nights, parent and son banquet, the Barnwarmin, and other educational and recre ational activities. artbeth Dtehl Barnwarmtng ueen Gay Shubert, Barnwarmmg Attendant On November 19, 1971, the Future Farmers of Amer- ica held their annual Barn- warming Dance in the Vo- cational Agricultural De- partment. The candidates for Barnwarming Queen and their Attendants took a test to evaluate their knowledge of Agriculture. The class that made the highest cumu- lative score was chosen Barnwarming Queen and At- tendant. The following were the queen and attendant candidates: Debbie Kenney and Cindy Payne, seniorsg Becky Wheatly and Shirlie Diehl, juniorsg Martha Davis and Mary Alice Brumback, freshmen. The sophomore candidates Maribeth Diehl and Gay Shubert were chosen the 1971-'72 Barnwarming Queen and Attendant. Doug Diehl, FFA president crowns his sister as Barn- warming Queen.
