American Field Service The American Field Service was very active this year, even though BHS was unable to find a family for an exchange student. Powderpuff football, AFS Carnivals, and money -making projects were all parts of a gratifying year. Mr. Carl Worden, the AFS sponsor, did a fine job of keeping up the interest in this club, proved by the fact that it is the largest organization in Butler High School. ational Honor Society The National Honor Society, sponsored by Mr. A.B. Spears, is the most sought- after club of all organizations in school, This club bestows a great honor to its members and to the entire school system.
