American Field Service The American Field Service was very active this year, even though BHS was unable to find a family for an exchange student. Powderpuff football, AFS Carnivals, and money -making projects were all parts of a gratifying year. Mr. Carl Worden, the AFS sponsor, did a fine job of keeping up the interest in this club, proved by the fact that it is the largest organization in Butler High School. Mary Laughlin, a senior at Butler, served as the president of the American Field Service. Foreign students entertain at assembly AFS Chapter Officers AFS
