tudent ouncils The Senior High Student Council began their term of office at the beginning ofthe school year after being elected the previous spring. Besides their regular duties, the council also sponsored Homecoming and the new Spike and Cinder dance. The council had several money- making projects. Two of these were selling newspaper subscriptions and sponsoring con- cession stands. Toward the end of the year, the council revised the student handbook and took charge of honor day. The Junior High Student Council was also active this year by sponsoring several dances and concession stands.
