1 i Q U 2 Q PUT YOUR IN YOUR BUSINESS The Business Department offers the following classes: Basic Business, Shorthand, Office Machines, and Typewriting I and ll, taught by Mrs. Raybourng and Typewriting I, Business Law, Accounting I and Il, taught by Mrs. Poland. The Home Economics Department offers classes in Family Living, Child Development, Personal Culture, Interior Decorating, Advanced Clothing, Vocational Home Econom- ics, and Junior High Economics taught by Mrs. King. Mrs. Raybourn and Mrs. Poland brighten their rooms with displays. Mrs. King helps students with their sewing projects. Mr. Greener leaves his office after a hard day at work. The Cooperative Occupational Education classes, taught by Mr. Greener, are offered to seniors who wish to work outside of school to earn regular school credits. They work one half of the school day and attend the C.O.E. classes the other half. The students try to achieve their education through practical experiences.

Vocational Training Industrial Arts, a section of the Vocational Training Department, is made up of the following classes: Junior High Shop, General Shop, Woodworking Electricity, and Drafting taught by Mr. A dkinsg and Animal Science, Plant Science, Agricultural Con- struction, Vocational Agriculture l, II, and Advanced Agriculture taught by Mr. Hilgedick. Physical Education The Physical Education classes were taught by three instructors: Mrs. Wanda Allen, Mr. Maynard Wallace, and Mr. Dolan Hawkins. Mrs. Allen taught girls P.E. and Health as did Mr. Wallace and Mr. Hawkins with the boys. The fine facilities present at BHS were very instrumental in the physical education classes this year. A new addition to the physical education classes was a weight- lifting machine. This fine machine is a welcome addition and should pro- vide interesting results.
