He attended the University of Arkansas and received his Bachelor of Science in Education at Southwest Missouri State College and his Master of Science in Education at Central Missouri State College. Before he came here he taught in Marshville, Montrose, and Rich Hill, Missouri.

Superintendent Glyndal Roberts This was Mr. Roberts' second year at the Butler R-V School District as super- intendent. He received his Bachelor of Science from Arkansas Polytechnical College, Russellville, Arkansasg his Master of Education from the University oiArkansasg and holds membership in the Gamma Alpha Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa, professional fraternity in Education. He comes to our school with background as a superintendent of Stella, Bronaugh, Salem, and Seymore, Mis- souri. Principal Ed MeRell Mr. McRell began his second year at the Butler High School, completing his first year as high school principal. He attained his Bachelor and Masters from the University of Arkansas. Before he came here, he was principal at Hartville, Arkansasg he taught English and Speech at Eminence, Missouri. Language Arts The Language Arts Department of Butler Junior -Senior High School consists of the following classes: Seventh grade Language Arts, taught by Mrs. Ienkinsg eighth grade Language Arts, taught by Miss Selvey, Language Arts I, taught by Mrs. Hillq Language Arts II and Publications, taught by Mrs. Fisher, Language Arts III, taught by Mr. Spears, Mrs. Hill, and Miss Selveyg Language IV andAppreciation of Literature, taught by Mr. Spearsg French I and French II, taught by Mrs. Robinson, and Spanish I and II, taught by Mrs. Sutherland, The Language Arts classes consist of a mixture of literature and grammar with emphasis on composition, vocabulary, and language.
