V Seniors try to sleep on route to Dallas. 72 on '72 Senior Trip It was an exciting moment when the Seniors left Butler to spend a fun-filled three days in the beautiful city of Dallas, Texas Most of the time was spent sightseeing, rodeoing, and, of course, visiting Six Flags Over Texas. The group returned tired but happy. Prom and Banquet The Junior Class presented to the Se- nior Class of 1972 the festive Prom and Banquet entitled 'tFirst Lovef' The Banquet was held on May 19, 1972 in the Methodist Church basement with the Methodist Church women pre- paring the menu. Mr. Charles Key, former high school principal at Butler, was the guest speaker. The Prom was held on May 20, 1972 in the grade school gym- nasium. The decora- tions carried out the theme. Music was pro- vided by Totapoke, a band from Columbia, Missouri. Senior couple enjoying the Prom.
