WlLLlAM M. west, Superintendent RUTH ANNA BROWN HowARD PHILLIPS Clerk-Treasurer Director School Services Now completing his fourth year in the Vandalia- Butler community, Mr. West has seen the high school enrollment Cgrades 9-121 increase from 892 to 1205 and has witnessed the completion of the addition with its language laboratory and general instruction rooms as well as 12 classrooms at the beginning of the 1964-65 school year. Now, in June of 1965, he can see work going on at Demmitt to staff and furnish the 12 room addition, at Murlin Heights where 15 rooms are being added, and at Morton Junior High where extensive remodeling is being done. These necessary and timely changes could not be were it not for Mr. West, Mrs. Brown, the members of the Board of Education, and the tax- payers. Their foresight and thoughtful considera- tion make it possible for Education to continue in the Vandalia-Butler City School District. THEY WORKED SC EDUCATIOIN
