Grizzly Staff Gets New Area Working out of packing boxes in its temporary headquarters, The Grizzly staff got off to a slow start. The group started the semester in the trailer on the back parking lot, and the week before finals made the move into the new building. Editor-in-chief, Jay Baumann, and advisor Jo Rogers attended the nation- al convention of the Associated Colle- giate Press in Miami Beach. They at- tended sessions that provided them with special ideas used in preparation of the yearbook. Four staff members, Jan Gahagan, Jill Angell, Jeff Regier, and Jay Bau- mann toured the Josten ' s American Yearbook Company in Topeka and learned how the company produces the yearbook. The Grizzy staff members included Jay Baumann, editor-in-chief; Jan Ga- hagan, layout editor; Jeff Regier, pho- tography editor; Jill Angell, copy edi- tor; Cheryl Juby, staff secretary. Oth- er members were Cindy Stout, Darrell Alexander, Derek Dillard, and Butch Berry. CHERYL JUBY, yearbook typist, takes a break from typing copy. Jay Baumann, editor-in- chief, surveys the scene going on in the staff room. Lower left, Jill Angell, copy editor, is pleased as she looks over pictures to be used. Lower right, Jan Gahagan, layout editor, works on one of the many pages appearing in the book. I ML %Li w j
