The activities of the student body of El Dorado Junior College are under the direction of the Student Council. Many activities are sponsored by the Student Council. They include Juco Appreciation Day, Homecoming, the Winter Prom, and Spring Prom. Jacque Wentling, Vice-President of Student Council last year, acted as president until elections were held. One of the most active E.J.C. organizations in several years developed this year under the title, E.J.C. Players, under the direction of Darryl Patten. Upon completing required participation in the theatrical field, the players be- come members of Pi Delta Theta, a local drama fraternity, and all members are free to meet qualifications of Delta Psi Omega, a national fraternity. An active year included a trip to the K.U. production of Paint Your Wagon, participation of members in the local Little Theater Production of Ten Little Indians, and winning first prize in the Juco Appreciation Day Parade of floats. 24
