The boys were defeated by the score of 2-0. Marie McConnell and Adella Levine made the goals. Hurrah for the girls. The lfl-li-2 Class held a theatre party on Tuesday October 10, at the Grand. The party arrived at the theatre at 3 :-15 and left about 5:45. The play was both interesting and instructive, the name being The Bond Boy . dir. It has been a source ot' wonder what football. team could stand the rush of the 10-B's when the 13:15 bell rings. The sight of Miss Pond's morning line gives one the idea. of what our lunch line in the cafeteria would be if there was only one luneh period. Every student in Business High ex- pects to be a stenographer or a book- keeper, but when? You always know when there is going to be a test, because the otlice is full of sick students. 10-B-3 is always up in the air. They never come down except for lunch. Some of us a1'e going to see the 10-B teachers another semester. It' not more. About the only thing settled is an E in shorthand. Bio wonder at the rumor that the Supreme Court Judges ol' Business High are going to resign on account olf the amount ot' work. Shorthand is not as easy as it sounds, it sometimes takes tive semesters to learn it. Students don't rush to Miss Cooley's l'0UIl1 as they do when they go to lunch. Our darkest periods are report cards time. 1 imagine we wouldn't mind disposing ot all ot' our E's and lYs. Don't you? Don't be afraid to criticize-criticize yourself often. Shorthand principles are like spa- ghetti when you think you got them. they slip away. will be better or worse. About the only thing the reports set- tled was that some ol' us would have to take lil-B over again. Anti-cheating week seems to have brought out a heavy vote but will the heavy vote produce anti-cheating. The hand that works the typewriter makes the mark. lVhen you get an A on your report card run home and put it in a sate place. Our marks have l'allen again. Oni only consolation is that they soon will have no place to go but up. A D in time will save nine il' near promotion time. Business High is the place to go when you want a business education. lVhat Business High would like to see is every student doing his fnrn and hes! work. The bright side ol' Business lligh is the outside. Business may be l'ree, but we paid the price in work at old Business High. llappy are they who do not get an B on their report. liet them ask l'or no other blessing' 5. All ot the students in Business lligh School seek success, wealth, and l':une, but many are not willing to pay the price in work and service.
