SENIOR YEAR BOOK Copeland and Gross were our champions at soccer. Hagadorn, Kacsur and Straus-with their rifles Honored the school 'and 'themselves with their prowess Others there were who did good work in studies Serious-minded, they came, armed with homework, Metzroth and Solomons, Forster and Cully Elizabeth Rosenblum, Helen Rupp and Ruth Zucker Not to forget Helen Banks, Edna Henkel. Then those who worked with Mr. O'Malley, Publishing Orioles , Bulletins , Guide Books , Lillian Klein, as a brilliant junior, Edited Orioles, while Arnold Auerbach Equally brilliantly toiled with the Bulletin, Elizabeth Rosenblum's famed for her powers Witli Bulletins, Orioles, guide books of wisdom. Then theres Ruth Zucker who edits the Year Book. Others there were indefatigible workers Metzroth and Holub and blond Castellanos, Fair Hilda Lichtenstein, Sprafkin and Trooboff Celia Black, Helen Riedel, Freda Valet. Service League, Traffic Squad, seats of the mighty Hurlburt and Hall and Al Schub among others lired Veyhl and Koster all guiding the traffic. Bow, Bushwick, bow to the outgoing Seniors. Admire and honor them, weep their departure, We are leaving the scenes of our glories and triumphs Poor helpless juniors, oh, how will you manage? Poor little freshmen, Whom willyou look up to? Poor teachers, poor office, poor posts and poor traffic, Wlio will assist you, protect you and guide you? Others may come who will think themselves able, Vain and deluded, may hope to excel us. Never will Bushwick in all the long future See such another class leaving her portals, Pride of athletics, and joy of the lunchroom, lf, sometimes, the woe and despair of the teachers. Never has Bushwick in all her past history Boasted a class whose renown equals this one's. Sad Bushwick knows as we take our diplomas Her glory's departing, we go forth to conquer!
