PM 6 Wawdtq 6 Under Suzanne Overman's leadership, the Pep Club had a successful season this year. Why, they made so much noise cheering the team, that my feeble squeaks were seldom heard! But that's not all-they've furnished one-third of the cost of the cheerleaders' uniforms, and assisted in planning those novel pep meetings that are the talk of the school. Barbara Buchen, vice-president, Patty Lay, secretary, Ianet Rogers, treasurer, and Mr. Price, their sponsor, assisted the president in promoting more interest in our athletic events. These fellows in the Varsity Club have been responsi- ble for the success of our team this year. Each member has earned a major letter and everyone in school, includ- ing ME, their favorite mascot, looks up to them as the main cogs in our big wheel of sports. Duane Spangler is president, and Kenny Vancil and Clair Myers assist him as vice-president and secretary treasurer, respective- ly. I wonder how long it will take me to become varsity material.
