PEP CLUB AND CHEERLEADERS HeyI Hey! Take it away! Go-gof Raise that score! Sound familiar? Why, ot' course! These are just a few ot' the many chants that have displayed the the Spartan spirit and proved to the boys that we were behind them, win or lose! This year the newly organized Pep Club ol' ll. P. C. had fifty-tive active members, with Dick lde, presidentg Lyle Walters, vice-president: David Brown. secretary: Leo Bartlett, treasurer: and Mrs. Phyllis llolcomb, sponsor. :H :Qt :Qi You've all seen those snappy little girls in the attractive hlue corduroy outtits with SPAIITANS across the front, con- stantly leading the crowd in yells, chants, and songs, to keep the spirit alive, the rooting high, and equally important, the booing low! These girls, Lorene Bagley, Rosie Cassell, Connie King, Joanne Morris, and Pat Wilson, were ehosen hy the two separate schools, and started early in the summer working on new yells and actions. Working right along with the Varsity Cheerleaders were those cute Cadet pep rousers in red and white corduroy outfits. Not heing chosen until after toothall sea- son, Joanne llarper, lleverly Kreider, and lletty lleinine' were rushed for time, hut they worked hard to make up yells and routines.
