Class Hzslory On a beautlful sunny mornmg 1n September of 1946 the Semors of today ran toward the elementary bu1ld1ng as Mrs Parker and M1ssBev1lle fur1ously rang a llttle bell As we journeyed through the f1rst g rade we learned our A.BC's and how to count to ten In the second grade M1ss Games trled to teach us to add and subtract but almost gave us up as hopeless As most of us remember, the dxtch 1n back of the school bulldmg seemed to be the 1deal place for us to play much to the re gret of Mlss Games, our s econd grade tea her and Mrs G1ddens, our thlrd grade teacher When we passed mto the fourth grade,we were very d1sappo1nted because we couldn t be 1n the hlgh school bulldmg, but we fmally achxeved th1s 1n the f1fth grade w1th Mrs Sever Thls was our fu-st year to have Phys1ca1 Educa txon In the s1xth g r ad e w1th Mrs Bmger w e wrote an o r lg 1 nal play The L1ttlest Angel whlch we presented at Chr1stmas We had a b1g t1me learnmg new songs that year In the seventh grade Mrs Lee had qulte a t1me try1ng to keep us qu1et and our mmds on school work Whenwe passed 1nto the e1ghth grade we were thrxlled to be able to change classes Thxs was our f1rst year to have a b1g class party We went to Sano lando Our freshman year was fllled w1th new exper1ences com1ng w1th our f1rst year 1n h1gh school That year wejomed the rush of extra curr1cular act1v1t1es In the tenthgrade we became 1ndustr1ous magazme salesmen Some of our class we re chosen to serve at the banquet By the tlme our J'un1or year rolled around we were well represented on the football team and cheerleader squad The greatest prom s1nce schools were founded was glven at BHS that year The theme 'P1rate s Den' , wh1ch was a b1g s e c ret kept the Senrors wonder1ng for weeks before the spectacular event And now flnally, our Sen1or year has come and 15 almost over Thls year was full of fun and act1v1ty We got our c la s s r1ngs ordered our 1nv1tat1ons and cards, and had a hectlc tlme trymg to sell thxngs to make money These have been wonderful t1rn e s at ole Bushnell I-hgh and Iknow we'll remember them far mto the future r a JZ , V fifflt m. 6:-3 1' Va P... 19113, 9 sv i fidmt fl f , ,,.
