PARENT-TEACHERS ASSOCIATION The Bushnell Parent-Teacher Association congratulates the members of the Senior Class and extends to them every good wish for the best of everything in the years that lie before them. I In the way of accomplishments this year the PTA was glad to have made it possible for the school to purchase new band uniforms and to have sponsored a girl to Girls' State as well as the dental cli.nic. The PTA also furnished an additional amount of silverware for the new school lunch room. T The co-operation of school fificials, PTA members and the many friends of the Bushnell School made these projects a matter of reality. In passing it is timely to observe that this year the Bushnell PTA had its first man president upon the election of C. Burton Marsh, a former student of B. H. S. , who graduated in the class of 1933. I have decided to take my savings from my pig h loved classmates are doing and into what varied occupations they entered. Zoom! I am now 500 miles from the place where I was thinking about these things. Pretty good mileage for an ole jalopy, huh?? Don't be alarmed, it's just an explosion the result of Chemist Allen Perry's concoction of some unknown w killer. Maybe someday it will kill weeds instead of everything bu weeds. Don't get worried though because i just Ann Veal, the new secretary to General Eisenhower, trying to make a good first impression by typing so fast that the keys on the typewriter are smoking! She got the job though--it's no wonder! SVC elves I t'S as eed iz-I Jerry Sellers, star coach at Tech, Kentucky, and other leading colleges in the nation during the past few years, comes back to his home st 8126 this spring to succeed Bob Woodruff as Coach of the Fighting Univer sity of Florida Gators. . . . Miss Gail Minton is now an interpreter 1 ways in Miami. ' She now speaks English, French, Spanish and Ger fluently, so if any of you happen to see her and she doesn't speak, 3 guide for foreign passengers and translatery for the Pan American A man it is because she has to change languages and switch back to English. . . Give her a minute and she will begin conversing fluently with you AS USUAL. . . Charlotte Center now designs fashions for Saks Fifth Avenue of New York.
