I x., ssxxxu M-an-v chess zrsresy M In the year 1952, on a rainy September morning, Hazl, Rose, Carol Taylor, Geraldine Rafie, Helen Uletz hleanor Vickroy, Norma Clspp, Calvin Wilson, Wayne hosmer, Ld Paryzeh Junior Smith, FT9Hk1lW Hosmer, Betsy Taylor, and Jean Sullivan started school in the section of the old Durton Gin Uur teacher was Miss Mlrtha Cochran, now Mrs. Donald Swan. -We moved from the gym to the old school building for the second grade. Our teacher was Miss Edna Gorton who is now, Mrs. Robert Dishone ' When in the third grade, we were split upa Half of us stayed with the 2nd grade with Miss Gorton as teacher and the other half joined the fourth grade end had Mrs. Kathryn Hull. While in the third grade we were joined by Pat and Bud Myers. H The new school building was completed in time for us to start the fourth grade there. Miss Carey who is now fMru. Holcomb was our fourth grade teacher. In the Sth grade we were taught by Miss Anna Maretka This year Betty een Mill of Orwell joined us. The next year Mrs. Moy.Uoats, our sixth grade teacher took us for her annual visit to the Cleveland Art Museum Our advisor for the seventh grade was Mr. Denver C. Jividen. This was the yerr we got our name of llbile cherubs. In the eighth grade our advisor was Miss Mary Lou Strock The American Legion .awards were given to Ardys Waller and Bud Myers. At the beginning of the '9th grade we were joined by Alice Hope, Ben Texter, and 'ud Chittle from Ularidon, June. Gildersleeve from Newbury, and Herb Kleve from Chester.
