Senior Class Will We, the Senior Class of 1968, Burt Community School, City of Burt, County of Kossuth, State of Iowa, being of sound mind and body do make, establish, and proclaim this our last will and testament in the manner and form as follows: I, Debi Stenzel, do will and bequeath to James Ruhnke, 49 large pink hair curlers and one giant sized can of Sudden Beauty hair spray! May they do you more good than they have me! 1 I am also leaving to you the dark alley that passes by my house. P.S. There are many pretty rocks to be found there IF you bring a flashlight!1 I, Gloria Heyes, do will and bequeath to Diane Person, all my ace bandages and my tremendous guarding ability, she'll need it 11 Also a copy of my book on One Hundred and One Ways to Mispell Wordsl—And Still be Happy. Gloria said that she would of autographed it—but she would of mispelled her own name. I, Marsha Curtis, do will and bequeath to Wayne Lavrenz, all the dead ends in Algona. Have Fun!11 I, Linda Becker, do will and bequeath to Janet Becker, my favoritest, littelest, sister, my chair as editor of the school paper, may her paper assignments always come in on time as mine have; also to her I will the chair next to Howard—may she always keep an eye on him!11 I, Donald Westling, do will and bequeath to Kenneth Hawcott, my new Math book and pencil and paper because he writes too much and wears the books out. I, John Fries, do will and bequeath to Tish Schrader, my great modesty, may you use it more than I didll I would give you my great sex appeal, but I think you have got enough already, right Jim????? I, Gary Huber, do will and bequeath to Jayne Larsen, my ability to play pingpong—which is none at all; and also I will her the top half of locker 90 and all the junk it contains! I, Sandy Ortman, do will and bequeath to Patty Sheirbon, one stiltz to be used for Basketball, you'll have to find the other one yourself. (For hints go to Janet Becker!!) I, Dan Long, do will and bequeath to Sandy Graham, one new horse that doesn't kick, may she find it a little more convenient when she elopes!il I, Marsha Curtis, do will and bequeath to Cinda Weber, the back seat in the Algona Theater Balcony. I, Donald Westling, do will and bequeath to Alan Mescher, a brand new Hemi to put in his Plymouth. I, Deborah Kohlhaas, do will and bequeath to Patricia Hildman, a warm seat on the'bus and my ability to stay awake in school, may you never fall asleep!1 Last but not least, my embarrassing situations, may you find better ways to get out of them than I did!11 I, Mike Hamilton, do will and bequeath to Mark Mawdsley, my ability to find better spots on Sunday afternoon, may he put that to use as soon as possible; and my fantastic ability to attract the opposite sex! I, Warren Waltman, do will and bequeath to David Stiltz, my dad's milkcow. Bossy, to be hand-milked for me while I am at college, since David likes to milk those good old cows. Also my book entitled How to Get Along With Ginny Without Even Trying and Without Getting Grounded Either. I, John Fries, do will and bequeath to Donna Larsen, my great athletic prowess because every school needs a super star, because without me the vacancy will be open 11 I, Dan Long, do will and bequeath to Colleen Kruse, my ability to always be on time and never miss a day of school in my life, may she use this to the best of her ability!1 I, Linda Becker, do will and bequeath to Bonnie Ditsworth, my ability to limp around the track field, may she win every race she runs; also to her I give my stuffed Teddy Bear—I hope she may have a use for it!11 16
