Dances, bake sales, and contributions from community organizations financed this year's journey to Los Angeles. Highlighting the trip was the tour of the U.C.L.A. campus. But BHS members require enough services to keep the officers and council busy constantly. They back each school project and introduce those of their own-they author two school interludes , the Carnival and Homecoming. The council treasury also finances the school athletic program. Members spend long hours painting posters for coming sports events, decorating the cheering sections, and co- operating with Student Council to make Homecoming a huge success. Their other events through the year are the Cotton Ball, and the Aloha Dance, honoring the graduating class. The officers this year are Cbelowj Sallyc Walden, treasurer, Suzanne Hough, secre- tary, Rose Marie Ambrose, president, and Davidena Fisher, vice president. They leasl the group which produces our school spirit!
