Being an alumnus, Bernard understood many of our school problems better than we did our- selves. His short stay at Burris created many pleasant memories for all of us. Our best wishes go to Bernard McKenzie. lt was Miss Knotts who guided us during the intermediate years between grade school and high school. She has seen us through many junior high fun nights, reproofs from the office, and those ever- complicated program schedules. She has always dis- played a deep interest in the class of 1950, and we will always have a warm spot in our hearts , for Miss Knotts.
