. . 641.56 iarg Mar. S Pretty busy Week. The hockey team went to West Point to play the Plebes. Quite a treat! By the way we won 10 - S! Mar. 13 All State hockey selections for the year 1948: Leo Krau- nelis, Donald Menard, Pet Bernard, and Ed Allard. Mar. 26 Food sale Was held at Jones' Store in Pascoag, huge success. Beans, cakes, and potato salad Went like hot cakes. Apr. 7-8 Exams here once again and only one more quarter to go. Apr. 11 Ticket selling contest for Senior Play, Little Jimmie Jones, began today. Apr. 19 Ticket returns were made today. Congratulations to the junior class on Winning the contest. Apr. 21-May 1 Spring vacation. Everyone had a wonderful time. Apr. 25-28 Wfc seniors took over New York for three days. We visited many spots of interest, and a wonderful time was had by all. May 13 Mr. Berry held the annual May Concert. May 24 Everyone has the Prom feeling. May 27 Senior Spring Prom and we had Paul KazanoWski's Orchestra,-- Janet Proulx chosen May Queen. May 30 Memorial Day. 'We honor our heroic dead. Gfaaa of '49 When we are old with hair turned grey And reminisce the time away W'e'll still possess fond recollections Of physics lab and mixed directions Of history where We all learned That Nero hddled while Rome burned. Of math-we almost broke our necks Finding what equalled y and X. Of NO: and SOA , Zn, Cu, and many more Cf hockey games and senior plays Missing the bus on rainy days. Of football teams - they made last fall The most successful of them all. Of baseball games, the umpire's shout And mild discussions - safe or out? When we have time to sit and think To these such memories we'll link The thought that none, however line, Could beat our Class of '49. Lloyd Strickland 29-

Cfaod iary . ., . . Sept. 13 Here we are-- Back to school! Once again everyone vows that they have come to High School to study! Sept 16 Our first class meeting and our class officers for the year are: President ....,...,...., ..... W illiam Fisher Vice President .,..,... . ,. Janet Proulx Secretary ......,.......... .,.., S hirley Allaire Treasurer .....s.... ., .......,.... . .. ..,i.. .. .. .. .,..... ..., E arle Crocker Sept. 23 Mrs. Boutiette came today and showed us samples of rings. We decided on a blue spinel stone. Sept. 24 Election of the 'Year-book Staff. Ella Phillips was elected Editor-in-chief and Mr. O'Connor as advisor. Oct. 1 The Freshmen Get Acquainted Dance was held tonight and it was a huge success. Oct. 12 Good old Columbus. The holiday was most welcome. Oct 21 Seniors hold movie at the Star Theatre, in Pascoag. Huge iinancial success. Oct. 27 Juniors held their Halloween dance tonight and every- one had a grand time. Oct. 28-29 Teacher's Institute and a few days vacation. The seniors all had their graduation pictures taken, here's hoping we're all smiling pretty! Nov. 16 Seniors' proofs arrive. Pul-lease tell me I don't look like that! Nov. 19 Senior Prom with Paul Kazanowskfs Orchestra giving out with sweet tunes. Nov. 25 Thanksgiving vacation! Don't cat too much turkey! Nov. 27 B. H. S. 32---- XVarren 6. Champs again! Let's give out with the cheers for the coach,' and the boys. Dec. 17 Christmas Dance! Everyone looked forward to this- could it be the Mistletoe??? Dec. 22-Jan. 3 Christmas Vacation! Do we need it? Hope Santa's good to everyone. Jan. 11 Sponsor cards distributed and we went over the top!!! Jan. 24 Decided our Class trip for sometime in April--New York here we come! Feb. 25 The boys went to New Hampshire to play the Dartmouth Frosh and won by a score of 4 -- 1. 28
