Mr. Lagoon gives the downbeat to the band during their seventh period practice session. Sophomore Stacey Bowser and junior Jennifer Warden, both members of the Spanish Club, help decorate the halls for Christ- mas.

Bag it: Bringing Lunch Your stomach growls. You try to ig- nore it. Your teacher keeps on talking and your stomach growls again. You look at your watch: Five more minutes until lunch. Will my stomach make it? The bell rings, and everyone dashes for the door. The stampede of growling stom- achs swarms to the cafeteria. You are now faced with two choices: Stand in line for ten minutes or do your homework. For the people that choose to eat, they are faced with the task of wolfing down lunch and socializing at the same time. And for the procrastinators who brave the rest of the day without food, they try to ignore the people eating areund them and rush through an assignment they know they will never finish.
