Schick, T | e The 1983-84 Bucs proved to be a very exciting team and a contender in the very tough Section 8. Led by seniors and cap- tains, Steve Thomas, Bill Ravotti and Steve Petrosky, the Bucs provided the home crowd with a lot of excitement. Other seniors on the squad were Dave Rieg, Dave Saska, Fran Arabia, Ray Kastelic and Rich Bayne. Two underclassmen who started were sopho- more Ray Sharick and freshman James Thomas. Storrick, L. Comperatore. The Burrell Girls’ Swim Team is making a splashing sensation under the direction of Miss Holly Sluss. She has been coaching the team for 2 years and has had a strong influ- ence on her girls. There are only 4 senior girls this year; Elizabeth Lea, Maryanne Sanner, Caro! Ide, and diver, Linda Milliron. Even though the team lost valuable people last year, they gained freshmen talent. Suzette Song, Elizabeth Lea, Carol Ide and Daniele Sedlacek are trying to qualify for WPIAL’S in the medley relay. In addition to long and hard practices in the pool, the girls are lifting weights.
