Burrell Varsity Buccaneers Despite losing many of last year’s out- standing senior players to graduation and getting a new head coach, the Burrell Bucs managed to have another rewarding year. Although their record didn’t quite compare to last year’s, the Bucs managed to set many individual records. Jeff McCarrell had the most pass completions in one season. Foreign exchange student Carl Bollden had the most field goals in one season as well as kicking the longest one, 39 yards. Alan Davis had a 90-yard kick-off return during the Burrell— Hampton game. The defense also is to be complimented on their play at the Valley game. Valley had zero pass completions, and the defense gave up the fewest yards Passing to Valley, which was a -2 yards.
