The Marching Kathy Kapustik Bill Christy Angela Fanning Seniors Tim Hyland Carol Ide Under the direction of James Lagoon Jr. James Lagoon and Richard Farinelli and Richard Farinelli, Burrell’s Marching Bucs performed another season with their usual musical standards. This season, their repertoire consisted of a number of show tunes and flashy dances. “‘There’s No Busi- ness Like Show Business’, ‘‘Cabaret’”, and the “Can-Can” opened every show. ‘‘Cats’’, “Cute’’, the “Charleston”, and ‘“Mame”’ fol- lowed the opener and, of course, closed each show with, ‘‘That’s All’’. Burrell’s Marching Bucs also performed at the Alle- Kiski Marching Band Festival, where their doubletime received an ovation from other bands, the Veteran’s Day Parade, and a Halloween Parade. Band President was Jen- nifer Gurnbert and Vice-President was Robert Yohe. Robert Yohe 906 STUDENT LIFE

In this year's fall comedy, “Don't Drink the Water,”’ Carl played the part of a communist policeman. He had quite a time acting in the play, and even a better time at the cast party AFS Student Carl Bollden Carl Bollden, our AFS student from Vasterraas, Sweden, has been quite a celebrity around Burrell High. His easygoing personality and sense of hu- mor have gained him many friends this year. Carl is staying with the Heidenreichs, a family of six, who sponsored an AFS Student three years ago. Carl enjoys being with the Heidenreichs and affectionately refers to Mrs. Heidenreich as “Mom.” Carl is a dedicated student. His classes include trigonometry, Chemistry II (Honors) and psychology, to name a few. In Sweden, Carl has been pursuing a career in natural science. He hopes to find a job that will enable him to travel to many different countries. In school, Carl has been involved in numerous activities. On é s the football team, he kicked extra points and contributed much to the Buc's scoring drive. Carl's famous balloon dance and Halloween costume have distinguished him as a guy who is not afraid to put on a few balloons and do his own thing. STUDENT LIFE 103
