The purpose of the Concert Band is to increase the students know- ledge in good music literature, to stimulate interest in the playing and appreciation of the finest in all types of good music and musicians, to develop students aesthetically. The purpose of the Stage Band is to increase the students knowledge in modern idiom and also the art of improvisation. lt prepares a student for a pos- sible career in the entertainment field or advocation. They performed in the Alle-Kiski Stage Band Festival ,t I and the Anglo-International Music Festival in Coven- try, England. They also give their own concerts and assemblies.
