Physical Education-A Change of Pace Mr. Fred Herlinger, Mr. John Robuck, Miss Charlene Tromby, Mrs. Mary Ann Neuschwander. '1 guy makes learning anatomy iust a little interesting. Flag football is one of the many outdoor games played in physical education class. Intramurals provide competition and enjoyment for enthusiastic students. Health classes are a part of every senior's curriculum at Burrell. Physical Education classes are held twice a week either in the pool or in the gymnasium. Students are able to develop coordination through gymnastic, athletic, and aquatic instruction. lntramural games in football, basketball and volleyball are also stressed along with the regular season sports. Health classes provide the student with a necessary knowledge ofthe care and development of the human body. Discus- sion on many of society's current health problems are also emphasized. Health is taken by all freshmen and seniors at Burrell.

Music-An Outlet for Expression . .sf r ' V ei 1 7 in ig, 4 I I 1 Y 1 ir 1 xi: Mr. Stephen Skoriia and Mr. James Lagoon, Jr. The Music Department gives students at Burrell the opportunity to not only increase their musical knowledge, but en- joy it and express themselves at the same time. The courses offered, which include Mixed Choir, Girls' Chorus, Band, Harmo ny 84 Theory, and Music Appreciation, supply the basis for both individuality and group effort in making the calss en- joyable and beneficial to all involved. Mr. Skorija leads the choir at a school assembly. Directed by Mr. Lagoon, the marching band adds enthusiasm at BurreIl's football games.
