Responsibilities to Fulfill Mr. Charles Smith Nlr. James Brackin Business Manager . g ubbk A The duties of the School Board are to direct the operations of if t all the schools in the Burrell School District. Q Mr. White, Superintendent of Schools, oversees the entire Mr. Frank Pallone Coordinator of Special Services school district which includes seven schools. He also serves as executive officer of the Board of Education. The Assistant Superintendent, Mr. Huston, is primarily con- cerned with curriculum, although he has numerous other duties. As Business Manager and Secretary to the Board of Education lVlr. Smith is responsible for all the financial affairs of the school district. Mr. Brackin serves as Assistant to the Superintendent. His du- ties include the direction of evening classes, personnel services, attendance, transportation, and home and school visitation. Mr. Pallone is the Special Services Coordinator. He ascertains all available resources for state and federally-funded programs. He is director of public relations, chairman of the business edu- cation department, and is responsible for all business equipment in the district.
