Have you ever seen a glowing Cheshire oat, a ten foot caterpillar, or an eight foot white rabbit? You did see these things if you attended the 1970 Burrell Senior Prom. Pat Lausberg, prom chairmang Pat Schroder, table decorationsg and members of the jun- ior class designed and constructed this chil- dren's fantasy. THE POST PROM entertainment in- cluded El Poochs, a tremendous groupg a hard rock groupg and a woman hypnotist. Boy, l wish l could have gone to the moon! In the land ofthe Giant Mushroomsg Jack Van Camp, Pat Schroder, Pat Lausberg. and Dell Crommie gaze at the caterpillar.

'hen lt Results in Understanding Student Council To the students, the Student Council is the most important organiza- tion at Burrell. Its officers include George Guido, presidentg Dan Vandenburg, vice-president, Chris Quigley, secretary, Dave Ahate, treasurer, Pam Lcydig, corresponding secretary: and John Rychlinski, sergeant-at-arms. Mr. Geyer sponsors the Student Council. The Student Council is the voice ofthe students. This organization performs many tasks such as scheduling assemblies, raising funds for muscular dystrophy, and planning Senior Day.
