Despite a slow start at the beginning of regular section play, the Bucs re- newed the championship hopes of Burrell fans by man- handling previously unbeaten Kiski Area 67-42. High- lands was next on the agenda but fate seemed to frown upon our Bucs as Highlands survived a bitter Contest 49-47. This defeat all but shattered the Bucaneer title hopes. Throughout the season the cagers were led by seniors ,lay Van Wetering and John Walker. Also, juniors Terry McNutt, Dan Liska and Dick Gmerek together with sophomore Ken Luyk did a fine job in helping the team to another profitable season. Q
