SENIOR CLASS ELDPHESY It was in June of 1957 that I decided to take a rest from my strenuous work in the New York City Hospital and take a trip to California to see Lolita. As I was boarding my train in Grand Central Station, I found that Ida Fern was also a passenger Sue tofh me that she was a steno g apher for nK1ll 'Em or Cure 'Ei Pink Pills, Incorporatedn in Philadelphia As I was to stop over in Philadelphia sne insisted that I be her guest at the very swanky Hotel Pierre's Blue Room I looked at the waitr ss who c me to take our order and thought I should know h r 'Why, lt'S Mar3orie'W exclaimed Ida Fern I asked Margorie how she get there, and she ro plied, nOh, I get around Frosty, my husband, is the cool here U We hated ton,leave each other but I had to make my train and imagine my astonishment when the conductor was none other than Mr Elder, sponsor of the class of '42 told me that he often saw James Bell who was truant officer in Evanston, Illinois Jim lways felt th t he had missed a great deal of his school days and was very nxious that other children make more of their opportunities After reaching Chic go I took a taxi The over a little kitten, so I too' it to the ne rest Dog Hospital, where I iound Dr Boyd Silsby as surgeon and Helen B irett as his assistant kitten in their c re nu too, nl ne for Burr Oak Burr Oak's splendid irport is located in Bill p sture ddition Montrose and her husb nd is in th army taxi ran Cat and the head left the Decker's Lee and his father in law operate the irport in to their f rming ent rprises I s w Alice in where she is n nglish te ch r in the high school When I arrived in Denv r I decided to take a sight see ing trip into the mountains On be rding the bus I dis covered that Earl Lathrop w s in charge of the tour On the tour we visited Lookout Mount in where I h d short visit with Lynn nd Je ne who re Ferret R ngers st tioned there From Denver I tool the bus wese Rex w s th driver nd h s a perfect driving reCOrd I s w Arnold in Id ho where he is well known s the l rg st grow r of pot toes in Id c lls them La Rue pet to s nd siips them to ll the world p rts of to greet home for dinner and were Just re dy to e t when long distance tele phone call c me It w s Bett,, popul r 'blue inger on the program NYour Swing P r de' She w Just re dy to fly in her priv te pl ne from New York Clyde is her pilot and they expected to be xith us by morning we f ll to t lking bout the things w would do wdile Betty nd I were there When I arrived in C liforni , Lelit w s there Hubert is an offic r in tn n vf We went . .
