Although school may be a lot of studying and work, many of us find time for other activ- ities which bring enjoyment to our school days. HOMECOMING — A TIME FOR US 79 HOMECOMING QUEEN AND HER COURT: Junior Representative Claudia DePue, Senior Representative Paula Dunham, Queen Connie Kline, Fresh, Representative Sandy Leski, Soph. Rep. Teresa Brunner. The Homecoming dance this year was another suc- cess as the couples danced in the gym decorated to the theme A Time For Us. The class of ' 70 presented two lively nights of entertainment when they performed, The Night Is My Enemy, The versatile talents of the Seniors were demonstrated in the suspenseful drama directed by Mr. McRuer. The students learned as well as enjoyed the new experiences of performing. The musical was dir- ected by Mr. James. PROM ' 70 Members of the court for the Junior- Senior prom, entitled Crystal Blue Persuas- ion, were Mary Root, Debra Dunlap, Pam Gest, Mary Ultz, and queen, Paula Dunham. Music for the prom was supplied by The Esquires . WHERE IS HARVEY ? SITTING: Olen Krontz, Mary Root, Claudia DePue, Paula Stone, Jeff Sampson. The story of the pooka, Harvey was presented by the jun- ior class. After much hard work on the part of the actors and the director, Mr. Mc- Ruer, the play was too soon over. The Student Council is the gov ' t of the students. They are responsible for seeing that activities are carried out by school policy. The Student Council is in charge of the welcome back dance in Sept. , the Homecoming Dance in Oct. , the League exchange, the Science Fair, and the elections for class and Student Council officers.
