DEDICA TION One of the ideals of education is the continued improvement‘of its methods and goals. Mr. Eugene Van Vranken has expressed this ideal in his tireless efforts to perfect the science curriculum. He has led in the development of the modern and interesting science courses that are taught here, courses whose prime emphasis is understanding. We appreciate not only Mr. Van’s work in course planning, hut also his intriguing method of presenting the normally uninteresting facts in the classroom. In gratitude for these services and also for his co-operation with sports and yearbook photography, we dedicate the 1965 EPIC to Mr. Van Vranken. 8
