DEDICATION Once in our lifetime we meet an individual whose personable and helpful attitude influences us all; such a person is Mrs. Margaret Coffin. We have all seen the products of Mrs. Coffin’s labors: the EPIC and HILLTOP, several Le FONTS, and innumerable ARROWHEADS. The hub of the publications’ wheel, the publications’ room, is a result of Mrs. Coffin’s incessant urgings for adequate facilities for the yearl ook, the newspaper, and the literary magazine. Without her capable assistance our productions would have lacked required finesse and organization. We will always remember Mrs. Coffin and her amiable smile which brightened many dim days. Her influence may well be seen in this yearbook, and in appreciation of many days and nights of labor and worry we dedicate the ’64 EPIC to, Mrs. Margaret Coffin.

FOREWORD Education is a process which is continually altered by progress. Its theme is antique, but not obsolete. The educational maps suffer from the yearly, monthly, and even daily passing of time. Within its limits education is an epic that will live through the years. This epic is modernized by the knowledge-seeking demands of the young. The class of 1964 wishes to present this yearbook, the second Epic, as representing the realization of the goals of education for us. As we reflect upon these last twelve years, we remember many tear-stained moments, both sad and happy. Perhaps we do not always remember what we have learned, but we still remember learning it. Most of our experiences at Burnt Hills will be forever engraved in our memories as integral segments of our educational epic.

FRAGALE We know we were the source of much concern and we hope your efforts were not fruitless. Thank you, Mrs. Fragale and Mr. Enzien, and best of wishes for the future.
