Bight Returning this season with an experienced squad, the soccer team of 1948 rolled into action. Under the undeniable leadership of Captain Ernie Martin the Hillers ended their season successfully tying Corinth for the League championship. In a play-off game Corinth topped the squad 3-0. This did not dampen the boys' spirits. Because of the highest standing in Class C the boys travelled to North Troy to meet Catskill High where they realized defeat by another 3-0 score.
