For the second consecutive year the club has compiled and distributed pocket folders containing the seasons basketball schedule. The club presented the annual Christmas Assembly and co-operated with the Y-Teens in presenting the Thanksgiving assembly. The club included two social events on its calendar during the current year. They were: A Hi-Y, Y-Teen party and a Spring Dance. The group was active in the State and District Hi-Y Fellowship. Mar- shall Phillips was secretary of District 9. Mt. Gilead was represented at Camp Nelson Dodd, the Hi-Y Camp, and at all State and District Con- ferences. i-Il-'

Burnell, M. Bachelder. The national organization formerly known as the Girl Reserves has changed its name this year to the Y-Teens. The Mt. Gilead Y-Teens took in nineteen new members at informal and formal initiations. This brought the total membership to forty-nine. Nine of our local members attended a District Y-Teen Meeting at Dela- ware in November. The Y-Teens made contributions to the March 'of Dimes, Jr. Red Cross, and YWCA Round-the-World Reconstruction Fund. Y-TFFN'? it 35

The F.H.A. started the school year by electing officers. Pauline Nesbitt was elected presidentg Eloise Shipman, vice presidentg Barbara Foster, secretaryg Ann Benton, treasurerg and Loretta Foster, reporter and historian. The F.H.A. sponsored a Halloween party for the F.F.A. October twenty-ninth. Games were played and refreshments were served. On January fourteenth, the F.H.A. girls Went to Fredricktown to the annual F.H.A. District Convention. Mt. Gilead had the largest group of F.H.A. members. Each school contributed some- thing to the program. The election of officers was held for the District. Margaret Sheehe was elect- ed the new District President. Refreshments were served.
