Burnham High School opened its 1950 gridiron schedule with Scotland Orphan- age at Scotland where the Bulldogs were overwhelmed by the score of 41-0. The next three games were lost to William- stown, Juniata Joint, and to Millersburg by the scores of 13-0, 6-0, and Z7-6 res- pective1y.In the next game Boiling Springs narrowly edged out the Bulldogs by an 18- l3 score, and our boys showed great en- couragement and promise to come, for the next three games were won by upsetting favored teams, Newport,NewBloomfield, and Washington Twp. The last game of the year was played in a steady downpour of rain at Mount Union where the Bulldogs went down to defeat after showing fine class in holding the Trojans to 13 points. Page Sponsor W.
