It was the largest class that ever entered the school. A few weeks after the opening of school, the class held its first meeting under its class advisors, Miss Howe and Miss Decker, for the purpose of organizing. Thus far the Freshies have had only one social event, held in the high school building the second week in January. In basketball they have a large number of representatives, and they promise to give the upper classes a merry chase when it comes to class basketball. If the Freshmen continue throughout their high-school career the spirit they have shown thus far, they will give the upper classmen plenty of competition when they are no longer Freshmen, but Sophomores.
