ADMINISTRATION My first year as your Superintendent has been enjoyable and rewarding. Together we have achieved many good things and I look forward to more achievements in the coming year. My philosophy as an educator is rather simple — but, I believe in it. We are in public education for one primary purpose: Give students the knowledge, understanding, comprehension, values, skills, and discipline to go into a complex society and succeed in being a valuable, contributing, happy member of a representative Democratic society. Everything we do in education should be done with that fundamental purpose in mind. In every decision we make we should always ask o-rselves: 1) Is it the truth? 2) Is it fair? 3) Will it build goodwill and better friendships? 4) Is it beneficial? 5) Is it ethical? If all of us (school staff, students, and parents) follow these guidelines we can continue to make our schools even better.
