Burnet High School Principal Cliff Vandeventer Problems are the province of our principal. Mr. Vandeventer can solve almost any problem you may have. He gets you to class on time, makes sure D-hall is well attended, and sees to it that the school runs as smoothly as possible. We couldn't do without him! The school counselor is the one to see to check on credits, IQ tests, colleges, or job opportunities. Mrs. Burkett not only sees to it that we have our share of darkening in little circles but also tries hard to keep us working so we'll get to walk across that stage come graduation. Excuses, excuses! Mrs. Scruggs and Mrs. Heffington have heard all kinds — from real hardship cases (“I didn’t have any clothes to put on!”) to fantastic forgeries (“Please excuse my child's absence.
