We spent many long hours practicing for the U.I.L. Marching Contest in which we received one of two first division ratings. We also sold calendars and listings in an effort to help raise adequate funds toward our trip at the end of the year to Lake Charles, Louisiana to partici- pate in the Contraband Days Festival.
