BEAUTY PAGEANT IS HIGHLIGHT OF SPRING The excitement was great and the competition keen as the 66-67 spotlights focused on the annual Beauty Pageant presented by the D.E. Club of B. H.S. All of the girls were beauti- ful. All the boys were hand- some. The judges had a diffi- cult decision to make. But this pageant wasn’t just a contest of beauty but was a contest of poise as well. The M.C.’s David Brunson and Jerry Hyman added to the success of this event with can- did wit and lively spirits. In the end our worthy judges, Mrs. Hallmark and Mr. Hill, concluded that Vickie Massey and Steve Gardner were to be Beauty Queen and Mr. Esquire of the 1966-67 school year. We are glad to congratulate not only Vickie and Steve but all of the contestants on a job well done. Congratulations. First Runners-up were Jan Feild and Gary Hyatt and Sec- ond Runners-up were Bonnie Burnett and Eddie Fariss. 22 JAN FEILD BONNIE BURNETT

 BEST ALL AROUND STUDENTS JAN FIELD and ANDY MILLER were selected by the Faculty Council as the Best All Around students of the year. Scholastic achievement, participation in extracurricular activities and cooperation in the total school program were some of the factors considered.
