HARVEST QUEEN AND COURT The 24th annual Harvest Festival was again sponsored by the Junior Class. Caroline Duncan and Steve Gardner were crowned Harvest Queen and King. Caroline, a Senior, was chosen from class representa- tives Linda Lucksinger, Junior; Patty Metzler, Sophomore; and Pam Richter, Freshman. The nominees rode with their escorts in the Halloween Parade and then attended the P.T.A. Halloween Carnival at the Elementary School. The Harvest Festival was held at the High School Auditorium immediately following the Carnival. Eddie Farris, Lary Boyd, Joel Mann and Don Baker en- tertained with their Band. HOMECOMING IS HIGHLIGHT OF FALL Homecoming was highlighted by the football game against Cop- peras Cove and a very impressive half-time show. Miss Bonnie Burnett was crowned Homecoming Queen over three other nominees; Debbie Lynch, Sally Robertson, and Sandy White. Also honored during the festivi- ties were: Deborah Braley, Band Sweetheart; Laura Sopp, Football Sweetheart; and Kelvin Keele, Pep Squad Beau. The beauties rode onto the field in new automobiles furnished by local dealers. MISS BONNIE BURNETT - Homecoming Queen Debra Braley, Band Sweet- heart, is escorted by Steve Sandner. 18
