ANNUAL PUBLICATION OF THE STUDENTS of BURNET HIGH SCHOOL ________________________:________________ 1950 We of the Annual Staff present you with the treasure of all trea- sures—a book of captured mem- ories of our high school days. As years pass, each of us will realize how much we cherish the days of youth, and we shall have no greater pleasure than recall- ing those wonderful years in Bur- net High School. We hope that this book will be to you a chest of the gems of youth. The Footprints Staff SUPERINTENDENT and PRINCIPAL’S STATEMENTS This record of our activities during 49-50 will recall many pleasant memories to each of us in the years ahead. May those memories include our present aims and ambitions and kindle within us a determination to live according to those principles we learn to practice in the classroom, on the campus, and on the play- ing field. J. C. Petty Superintendent HIGH SCHOOL DAYS . are happy days! They should be very profitable to each boy and girl in the understanding of self and in the attainment of his or her fondest dreams. Be careful not to throw away even one of them. Be sure you major those aspects of school life which will be of the most value to you, and that you be a friend to as many other boys and girls as you can. E. O.
