Dr. Millard Z. Pond I I Of Um ? ' Executive director of this production is Dr. Millard Z. Pond, Superintendent of the Burlington school system. His duties as head administrator for the schools are many, including planning for the future of the system, the interviewing and hiring of new teachers and planning the school budget. Dr. Pond is interested in all school activities and participates in or attends many of them. Former BHS principal, Dr. Harry W. Kingham, as Director of Secondary Education, has the job of co- ordinating the curriculum of the secondary schools. He fills a new position this year and has the re- sponsibility of setting up the duties of his job. Many cities are making this change to help improve their educational systems. Filling the important position of BHS principal is Mr. Leroy F. Pease who can be seen at all school activi- ties and is well known in the community. After being vice-principal for many years, Mr. Pease is 'vw' 1 , W. W W. ff 'f ' 'iw Dr. Harry Kinqhom well qualified to serve as principal, a position he assumed this year. ln addition to supervising stu- dent activities and his other duties, Mr. Pease was responsible for successful experiments with new hall regulations and the new time schedule.
