Halfiime the football season opened Candy apples, popcorn, hot doqs, cold pop, hot coffee, and cold Weather helped to usher in the football season. The pep assemblies boosted school spirit in preparation tor the games. The editorial staff supervised the writina of the articles, and the ad staff personnel sold advertisina to finance the weekly newspaper. lpinior Iournalists used their originality in writina all articles to be published in the P and G, ana in planning and sponsorlng the annual vice-versa dance, the Catrnan Clutch. Burlington, making a triumphal comeback, again captured the Little Six Championship. Tack's powerful Grayhounds bombarded all Little Six toes, demonstrating the never-say-die attitude it took to Win. Wayne Kramer and Denny Daily led the team as co- captains. Bob Zaiser was voted the Most Valuable Player With Least Recognition by the team. lim Hab- erichter and Leroy Peterson were both honored with All-State team berths.
