4 Tompkins With her Senior year, came the high lights of lola Davis' highschool days. Beautiful lola reigning over the l948 Homecoming was a credit to her class. As captain of the cheerleading squad, Iola will long be remembered pep and enthusiasm at games. for her 1 l l 5 Beverly Presiding over his fellow classmen during the second semester, the 49'ers have vot- ed Dan McBride a position among the top Seniors of his class. Known throughout the state for his athletic ability, Dan has been recognized by Burlingtonians as an outstanding athlete of the '48-'49 sport's year. Mur , as he is known to his many friends played quarterback on the foot- ball team and was co-captain of the basketball squad. Working long hours as Editor-in-chief of the PGG, Bev helped bring many honors to the school paper.
