ALBERT MORGAN Blond Evangeline Swanson has had a series of fun cmd thrills in BHS. Several honors came her way as a Sophomore which is very unusual. She was chosen to reign as queen over the annual class party and also during that year was a member of the stu- dent council, Vange served as lunior treasurer and secretary for the first and second semesters respec- tively. Undoubtedly her crowning glory came with her selection as the 1948 Homecoming Queen, the dream of every Senior girl. A member of both GAA and Y-Teens, she was always busy. Her personality and cute grin will be remembered by all of us, RICHARD NELSON Albert Morgan's greatest honor came in his Sen- ior year when he was elected class president for the second semester. Sports has been one of Al's main interests in high school. He received several major letters for his work in basketball, football and track during his Iunior and Senior years. Basketball, how- ever, was also an activity for him as a Sophomore. The selection of Al for All-Conference football, first team, gave him recognition for his fine work in that sport, He worked in the cafeteria this year and in- variably greeted all with a friendly smile. His happy- go-lucky nature has made him a favorite, VANGE sWANsoN One of the most active boys in high school has been Richard Nelson. A member of the varsity cle- bate squad, Dick won the degree of distinction giv- en by NFL. As a Sophomore, he was in the boys' quartet. He held several responsible positions dur- ing his second year as president and vice-president of the class and as a member of student council. Again in his Senior year Dick was elected class presi- dent. Having shown talent in dramatics, he has given outstanding performances in all his parts. This last year Dick was on the ad staff of the PGG. His ver- satility has made him one ot the leading Seniors.

Our Stars . . Louise Clark well deserves to be placed among the Star Seniors. Outstanding in music activities, she plays first stand cello in the orchestra. On the stu- dent council this year, Louise acted as chairman of the assembly committee, and as another Senior hon- or, was elected Dolphin Queen. Throughout her years of BHS she has maintained a high scholastic stand- ard. Scribblers and Y-Teens have kept her busy, and yet, with all these responsibilities, Louise finds time to indulge in tennis or swimming and in playing her large and varied collection of records, Her gay and sweet manner has won her many friends. WAYNE DANIELSON Many honors have come to Barbara McCollom during her high school years. In her Iunior year she 'l d resident was a member of the student counci an p and vice-president of the class. Babs devoted much of her time to music, being first chair violist and a member of the girls' sextet during her second year. As a Senior she was secretary of the student council, class treasurer, associate managing editor of the PSG, and-biggest thrill of all-attendant to the 1948 Home- coming Oueen. Her first taste of dramatics came this May with a part in The Seven Sisters . Babs is truly a Star Senior . LOUISE CLARK Active in declam, dramatics, journalism and mu- sic, Wayne Danielson has no time on his hands . Much of his energy has been put into the field of dra- matics, since he had leads in both Iunior and Senior class plays and in several one-act presentations. Danny also won several top rankings in boys' de- clamation contests. His greatest responsibility was his position as editor-in-chief of the P 6- G and his notable achievement, that of promoting and direct- ing the Etretat, France Relief Drive. He has been con- sistently at the top of the honor roll. Wayne will long be remembered as the author of the words for our Alma Mater song. BARBARA MCCOLLOM
