The Seniors have just finished a busy and difficult year, assuming the natural leadership of the classes and preparing for the all-important graduation. They have had a brilliant and successful record during their three years, The members of this class have participated and excelled in every major activity of the school-music, athletics, dramatics, debate, declam and journalism. B. H. S. may well be proud of its 1948 Seniors. 4646 me Typical of Miss Howe, class adviser, is her fairness, sympathy and sense of humor. Our Stars . . Louise Clark well deserves to be placed among the Star Seniors. Outstanding in music activities, she plays first stand cello in the orchestra. On the stu- dent council this year, Louise acted as chairman of the assembly committee, and as another Senior hon- or, was elected Dolphin Queen. Throughout her years of BHS she has maintained a high scholastic stand- ard. Scribblers and Y-Teens have kept her busy, and yet, with all these responsibilities, Louise finds time to indulge in tennis or swimming and in playing her large and varied collection of records, Her gay and sweet manner has won her many friends. WAYNE DANIELSON Many honors have come to Barbara McCollom during her high school years. In her Iunior year she 'l d resident was a member of the student counci an p and vice-president of the class. Babs devoted much of her time to music, being first chair violist and a member of the girls' sextet during her second year. As a Senior she was secretary of the student council, class treasurer, associate managing editor of the PSG, and-biggest thrill of all-attendant to the 1948 Home- coming Oueen. Her first taste of dramatics came this May with a part in The Seven Sisters . Babs is truly a Star Senior . LOUISE CLARK Active in declam, dramatics, journalism and mu- sic, Wayne Danielson has no time on his hands . Much of his energy has been put into the field of dra- matics, since he had leads in both Iunior and Senior class plays and in several one-act presentations. Danny also won several top rankings in boys' de- clamation contests. His greatest responsibility was his position as editor-in-chief of the P 6- G and his notable achievement, that of promoting and direct- ing the Etretat, France Relief Drive. He has been con- sistently at the top of the honor roll. Wayne will long be remembered as the author of the words for our Alma Mater song. BARBARA MCCOLLOM
