The Seniors have lust finished a busy and diHicult year, assuming the natural leadership of the classes and preparing for the all-important graduation They have had a brilliant and successful record during their three years The members ol this class have participated and excelled in every maior activity of the school — music, athletics, dramatics, debate, declam and lournalism B H S may well be proud ol its 1948 Seniors n c c vte Typical of Miss Howe, class adviser, is her fairness, sympathy and sense o! humor Her able leadership and direction brought the Seniors through their most active year with flying colors MISS HELEN HOWE

Our Stars mmk Louise Clark well deserves to be placed among the Star Seniors. Outstanding in music aclivities. she plays first stand cello m the orchestra. On the stu- dent council this year, Louise acted as chairman o[ the assembly commiltee, and as another Senior hon- or, was elected Dolphin Queen. Throughout her years of BHS she has maintained a high scholastic stand- ard. Scribblers and Y-Teens have kept her busy, and yet, with all these responsibilities, Louise finds time (o indulge m tennis or swimming and in playing her large and varied collection ol records Her gay and sweet manner has won her many friends. LOUISE CLARK Active in declam, dramatics, journalism and mu- sic, Wayne Danielson has no lime on h ' s hands . Much of his energy has been put into the field of dra- matics, since he had leads in both Junior and Senior class plays and in several one-act presentations, Danny also won several top rankings in boys ' de- clamation contests. His greatest responsibility was his position as editor-in-chief of the P G and his notable achievement, that of promoting and direct- ing the Eiretat, France Reliel Drive He has been con- sistently at the top of the honor roll Wayne will long be remembered as the author of the words lor our Alma Mater song. i - WAYNE DAfilELGOIJ Many honors have come to Boibara McCollom during her high school years. In her Junior year she was a member of the student council and president and vice-president of the class. Bobs devoted much ol her time to music, being first chair violist and a member oi the girls ' sextet during her second year As a Senior she was secretary of the student council, class treasurer, associate managing editor ol the P G. ond — biggest thrill of all — attendant to the 1948 Home- coming Queen Her first toste o[ dramatics came this May with a part in The Seven Sisters . Babs is truly a Star Senior BARBARA McCOLLOM
